1.8Mtr Mobile Antennas
The Mobile VSAT Antenna Comprises GFRP / Carbon Fiber reflector of 1.8Mtr & 3 axis mount, an Elevation over Azimuth positioner which uses high strength steel wire rope cables in its drive system & has Antenna Control Unit, GPS, Electronic Compass, Inclinometer, Beacon Tracking Receiver, Encoders & Limit Switches etc.
The Drive system is characterized by light weight, high stiffness and zero backlash. It has a motorized drive for the feed polarization rotation and encoder for angle indication.
This Auto system includes all features along with the advantages like:
Initially Positioning of the vehicle / Antenna to true north is eliminated by using GPS & Electronic Compass. Leveling of vehicle is not required as the inclinometer takes elevation tilt of the vehicle into account.
Based on the selection of tracking time interval in ACU. The ACU with the help of Beacon Tracking Receiver always points the Antenna to reception of maximum signal strength.
ANTENNA CONTROLLER :
Micro Controller base with Menu drive software.
Positioning the Antenna to desired Satellite. ( Automatic / Semi Automatic )
Operates in two speeds SLEW ( continuous & Constant ) and STEP ( for precise alignment of Antenna ).
Three axis jog control and display with auto stow.
Displays the AGC level w.r.t. the received signal strength.
Allows user to set the step size & time interval required for step tracking.
Rs232 interface which enables remote monitoring & control. Ethernet RJ45 (optional).
Built in GPS,Integrated Electronic Compass & inclinometer.
19 Inch Rack Mount.
The drive mechanism utilizes variable speed 24V DC Motors for Azimuth, Elevation and Feed axis.
